About us
Tree Technology (TREE) is a Spanish R&D-performing SME that provides ICT-based solutions for different sectors and markets (e.g., banking and insurance, public administration, healthcare and transport). TREE works within an open innovation model to provide their customers with advanced ICT solutions, helping them to optimise their processes and improve their business. R&D activities, in particular cooperative initiatives, are key to the company business model in assessing the maturity of emerging technologies, gathering new and differential knowledge, and identifying strategic partners to create new business opportunities.
Expertise and experience
The R&D unit focuses on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, integrating emerging technologies as part of the Smart Data ecosystem. In this context, Machine Learning and Analytics, Computer Vision, Cognitive Systems, or Visual Analytics occupy a relevant position among the company’s research lines.
TREE has a long track record as technical partner (both as task and work package leader) and coordinator in EU-funded projects in different sectors, not only IT but also societies, security and health to name a few.
Role in IMPULSE
TREE’s main role in IMPULSE is twofold:
- From a technical standpoint, TREE is leading the analysis and verification of the digitised documents provided by the citizens during the registration process. Besides, it will contribute to the design and development of the eID management architecture and scheme as well as to the system integration and case study validation.
- TREE is responsible for the communication activities.
